Plot summary

Detective Andrea Oya is a no-nonsense detective who gives her work everything, and the softer side of her is one she rarely shows. Samantha Curry is a Special Agent with the FBI. The two women team up hesitantly to work a string of killings in the city, where Black women and children are the targets and the victims are found disfigured. On each body the killer has left a mark, a message that reads as a taunt to whoever finds it. Oya and Curry take on the case and try to restore order and justice in the city. The danger around the investigation draws them together, and a friendship forms between them.
