Plot summary
Art theft from country estates is how Leon and his crew of young city thieves make their money, taking pieces and demanding payment for their return. Greed and economic need keep them at it, and Leon is talked into one more job. This time the target is the art at Lady Redwick's estate. The gang moves in on the house at night, and the owners of the estate catch them in the break-in. The next day the household lets the thieves go, covered in fox urine, and Lady Redwick and the gentry around her go after them across the estate, hunting them for their own entertainment.
