A mockumentary set over the three days before a first birthday party. The child has two fathers: Steven James, a soap actor, and Daniel Ferguson, a screenwriter. The pair married a year earlier and now plan a celebration for their young daughter, with the household's preparations and the assembled guests filmed as they go.
