Plot summary
Money is tight in the small town where Matthew Peyton runs his business, and he wants the company to do well. He also covers the cost of the yearly Christmas pageant, so both demands press on him at once. The decisions he makes to stay afloat cost him the goodwill of the people who work for him, and they look for a way to get even. Clarence, a joyful boy he meets, is certain that miracles can happen. The boy's faith presents Matthew with a choice: pursue his own gain, or open his heart and help the community around him.
