Plot summary

Bruce Wayne has been retired from Batman for twenty years, and Wayne-Powers Enterprises has passed into the hands of his business partner, Derek Powers. Terry McGinnis is a high schooler whose father, Warren, works there. Out on the town one night, Terry crosses paths with Wayne. He comes home to learn his father has been killed, and a disc he finds suggests a motive for the killing. With no one else to turn to, Terry brings his suspicions to Wayne, who refuses to take on Powers directly. Without Wayne's permission, Terry puts on the last Batman suit and sets out on his own.
