Plot summary

In July 1776, Benedict Arnold destroys Independence Hall, takes the Declaration of Independence and kills its signers. He then appears at Ford's Theatre, where George Washington is watching a play with his childhood friend Abraham Lincoln, and attacks Lincoln. Dying, Lincoln asks Washington to end the Revolutionary War and names the future country America. At the funeral, Washington meets Martha Dandridge, who urges him to keep fighting. He joins forces with the party-loving Samuel Adams, rounds up the equestrian champion Paul Revere, recruits the scientist Thomas Edison and enlists Geronimo, a hunter who knows the land, to help track Arnold down.
