Plot summary
Days off work and money are what Fred Flintstone asks his boss Mr. Slate for, so that he can take Wilma on the vacation he promised. Mr. Slate is hiring an indirect relative, John Cenastone, and Fred receives nothing from him, and he cannot tell Wilma. At a fair run by the Lodge of the Water Buffaloes, Fred finds a way to raise cash: Hoppy, the hoparoo of his friend Barney Rubble, is entered in boxing matches and defeats one opponent after another. The Boulder Twins run a kissing booth that makes Wilma and Betty jealous. When the ruffian CM Punkrock humiliates Hoppy, Barney challenges him, and Fred sees a chance at more money. A seafood seller, Mr. McMagma, greets them, and they plan an event in an abandoned circus, with Cenastone asked to recruit more wrestlers.
