Alone (2020) on Netflix

Plot summary

Aidan wakes in his apartment after a tryst with a random woman and finds an outbreak turning people into infected attackers called Screamers. His neighbor Brandon comes in wounded, and Aidan threatens him with a kitchen knife until he goes. Reports say the virus passes by bite and scratching, and that the infected bleed from the eyes, rage, scream and repeat their last words. Texts from Aidan's father tell him his sister got away, that his parents are trying to reach him, and that he should stay alive and not leave home. Aidan seals himself inside, marks the days on his bathroom mirror and keeps video logs. Food runs short and the building's water is cut off.
