Plot summary
A couple's Christmas Eve date leads to a strange theater, where they watch a holiday play built from horror stories. In one, office employees at a seemingly mundane Christmas party take part in a Secret Santa exchange whose gifts carry horrifying consequences. In another, Eric locks his keys and phone in his car after last-minute shopping and asks two women, Sasha and Frankie, for help, not knowing they are preparing a ceremony to call a powerful demon. Chet, who dislikes Christmas and his neighbor's flashy lights, finds a spooky letter while flipping through TV channels on Christmas Eve; it says three ghosts intend to change his grumpy spirit. At another party, Gabby argues with her boyfriend Steve, steps outside for air, and watches the stars swirl into a strange light that pulls her into a twisted version of Christmas Eve.

- Rebekah McKendry directed the film while pregnant through the whole nine-month term, shooting the first two segments at nine months pregnant. Production paused when her doctor scheduled her delivery for a Wednesday, and she called her producers before her parents to say they couldn't shoot that weekend because she had to give birth.
