Plot summary
The virus has left most of the world dead. Brian, his brother Danny, Brian's girlfriend Bobby and Kate, Danny's friend, drive toward Turtle Beach, Texas, where the brothers vacationed as children, expecting to wait out the pandemic there. Brian keeps a set of safety rules for the group. On the road they meet Frank and his daughter Jodie, who is infected. Frank's vehicle has run out of fuel. Frank attacks the four. After their own car breaks down, they bargain with him and travel on in his vehicle.
