All Creatures Big and Small (2015) on Netflix

Plot summary

Dave is a Nestrian, a colorful animal who builds comfortable nests and gives off a foul-smelling blue cloud whenever he is emotional. He moves his son Finny from place to place in search of a real home, and Finny would rather have friends. Word spreads that a flood will cover the world, so Dave packs up and takes Finny to the gathering of animals, where an ark large enough for every species waits. Nestrians are not permitted on it. The two get aboard with help from two Grymps, Hazel and her daughter Leah, who give it unwillingly.
