Levon Cade left the Royal Marines and now works construction in Chicago for the Garcia family. Joe and Carla Garcia run the company with their daughter Jenny, and Levon is close to them. He carries PTSD and is fighting for custody of his daughter Merry, who lives with his wealthy father-in-law, Jordan Roth, since Levon's wife took her own life. One night Jenny is taken by two Russian traffickers, Viper and Artemis. The police find no leads, so Joe and Carla offer Levon money to find her, and he refuses.
