Plot summary
Winter Rose was orphaned as an infant and moved from one orphanage to another through her childhood. She is a teenager now, on her own in Los Angeles, still carrying her abandonment with her, and she drinks. Music is her one true passion, and it is the place she finds comfort. Rachal Love is a legendary singer. After a cancer diagnosis, she looks for a successor around the world, and Winter is the one she picks. An international singing career opens to Winter overnight, and the pressures of a worldwide stage weigh on her along with her substance abuse and her self-doubt.
