Plot summary
Daryl is a criminal on the run from a mobster. Dressed as Santa Claus, he crashes onto a struggling farm in the Australian outback at Christmas time. A single mother is raising her family there with little to spare, and the crash upends their lives. Daisy, the youngest child, is a firm believer in Santa and takes the stranger in the red suit for the real thing. Her sister Hazel, a wily teenager, sees the arrival differently, and she decides the unexpected visitor could be the means to save the farm. She wants to bring her fractured family back together.
