Plot summary
Kevin Doucette lives in a small village on Prince Edward Island, where he harvests sea moss along the coast and supports his household on very little. He is committed to the traditional way he works, and his pregnant wife Sam wants him to leave the province for steadier, better paid employment elsewhere. One day he comes across a bag holding a large sum on the shore and chooses to keep the discovery to himself. Troy arrives in the village asking after what Kevin found, and Kevin finds himself drawn into danger as the money's owners send people looking for it.
