Plot summary
Laura Connors is a working mother, and her daughter Kelsey is nine years old. Laura wants to spend more time with the girl, but her demanding boss, Paul, has other ideas. When Kelsey's father, Dylan Connors, files for joint custody of Kelsey, Laura is forced to take her to Texas. There she confronts the lifestyle, the church and her father, Jack Connors, all of which she left behind. Pastor Frank serves the local church. Laura and Dylan once made a commitment to each other and to Kelsey.
