Plot summary
The reality series Apocalypse: Ultimate Survivalist sends its players into the West Virginia backwoods to act out the end of the world. Retired Marine colonel Dale Murphy hosts, and before the first task he has the contestants give up all outside communication. Nina is a graphic artist; with her are skateboarder Jonesy, former football player Jake, Iraq war veteran Amber and lingerie model Elena. When one contestant does not arrive, the show's producer Mara takes her spot. The woods are home to a deformed family of cannibals, among them Ma, Pa, Brother and Sister. Mara and Nina walk to a cabin looking for a telephone, and when the occupants come back the two hide in a bedroom.
