Plot summary
Joel's girlfriend ends their relationship after taking the advice of Dr. Dwayne, an abusive therapist who dispenses it on daytime television. Joel's friends Wyatt and Ben look for a way to lift his spirits, and they settle on a road trip that will also take them to Dr. Dwayne. Wyatt has customized his van into a rolling hotdog stand he calls the Wiener Wagon, and he hopes the venture will win him a job with Oscar Mayer. That van carries the three men across the country, and along the way they meet a series of outrageous characters and land in silly situations.
