Plot summary
At the giant holding where he works, Ugo Fantozzi has timed his mornings to the second: awake at 07:51, his wife's scalding coffee, a kiss for his daughter Mariangela, then the run for the 08:01 bus. When Pina calls the company after eighteen days without news of him, he is found walled into an old bathroom. He asks Signorina Silvani, the colleague he loves, to lunch, and the drive ends with him beaten and his small car wrecked. His colleague Filini organizes a football match between married and single men on a muddy pitch and talks him into buying a motorboat for a camping trip.
