Trailer

Plot summary

Geologists gather to debate what the inside of the Earth is made of, and agree that only an expedition can settle the question. Professor Otto Lidenbrock buys an old volume in a bookshop; it was written by Arne Saknussemm and holds coded knowledge about the center of the Earth. He asks his niece Grauben and her fiancé Axel, a soldier, to join him. In Iceland the group hires Hans, a shepherd and mountaineer, and the four of them set off.
