Nicolette finishes college and learns that the money for her move to Los Angeles is gone, so she will take any work. She agrees to watch Chloe, a defensive teen with a single mother under severe strain. Chloe then takes her out on long hikes in a park close by, day after day. Eager to keep the job, Nicolette searches for a way to make both their dreams come true before Chloe's mother learns anything.
