Plot summary
Another supermoon is coming, and people brace for it. Homes are barricaded with traps and weapons, soldiers cage those exposed under the last moon, and researchers look for a way to undo the mutation. Wesley Marshall, a Marine before he became a molecular biologist, lives with Lucy, his sister-in-law, and her daughter Emma, and he reinforces the house. He and Dr. Amy Chen are among the scientists behind Moonscreen, a serum meant to keep moonlight from reaching the human genome, and the team holds test subjects in a secure facility while injecting them under an opening roof. When those subjects turn and the facility falls into chaos, Wesley and Amy grab vials of the serum and set out for his home.
