Plot summary
Roscoe Jenkins grew up in the South, left it behind and became Dr. R.J. Stevens, the host of a successful talk show. He is engaged to Bianca Kittles, a former Survivor contestant, and he agrees, reluctantly, to bring her and his ten-year-old son Jamaal home for his parents' fiftieth wedding anniversary. Waiting in Georgia are his pickpocketing cousin Reggie, his brother Otis, who is the town sheriff, his sister Betty, and Clyde, the cousin he has spent his life competing with, who arrives with Lucinda, the girl Roscoe loved years ago. Roscoe has been away nearly nine years and wants his family to see the wealth and fame he has won. His father, Roscoe Sr., and his mother, Mama Jenkins, are marking the anniversary.
