Plot summary

Connor has trained in Muay Thai since childhood, and on a trip to Thailand with Amanda he takes her to a match during the Songkran festival. Amanda leaves early, unable to watch the brutality, and loses her way in the Phang Nga market, where a stranger leads her down an alley and, as the vampire Niran, carries her off. Connor is saved from a second vampire by a bald stranger, Kiko, who tells him to leave the country. The police will not treat Amanda as missing for two days, so Connor keeps returning to Kong Sai House, where Sang attacks him and the slayer Raines tests his blood. A photograph of Niran sends Connor searching for Amanda.
