Plot summary
On Halloween, Wendy and her friends meet at a house to mark the anniversary of Tony's death. They decide to play a board game called Uncanny Annie that none of them can explain the presence of. The game comes with a deck of cards, and the group has to carry out whatever each card asks. For every task they finish, they get to add a letter to the name Annie, and they have an hour before Annie arrives to finish the game on her own. At first the cards seem harmless. Then the tasks become violent, and things the friends have kept from one another surface. One task leaves them guarding a card that a sinister figure called The Prankster wants.
