Plot summary
Serge Aubin has served his sentence for a stickup, and on the day he walks out of jail four killers are waiting for him outside. Count Charles Varèse sent the men with orders to make Serge confess where he hid the jewels stolen in his last robbery. Commissaire Caillaud, the police inspector who arrested him, makes a different offer: protection, on the condition that Serge hands over the same information. Serge gives neither the count's men nor the inspector what they want. The henchmen are about to torture the answer out of him when Michel, a friendly hood, steps in to help him.

- The title comes from an expression from northern France meaning "let yourself go, try to relax". The film brought the phrase back into fashion, and many of its scenes were shot in that region.
- Released in April 1971, the film did not match the success of Georges Lautner's other works, and he and its star Jean Yanne never worked together again afterwards.
