Jean Yanne was born on July 18, 1933 in Les Lilas, Seine [now Seine-Saint-Denis], France as Jean Roger Gouyé. He was an actor and writer, known for Weekend (1967), Indochine (1992) and Le Boucher (1970). He died on May 23, 2003 in Morsains, Marne, France.
