Plot summary

Douxie Casperan and Nari lure Belloc and Skrael aboard a moving train in the subway, and Jim Lake Jr. and Claire Nunez join the ambush. Jim is wounded, and Toby Domzaski accidentally snaps the train's brakes, sending it out of the station. Belloc and Skrael set a fire and threaten the bystanders unless Nari goes with them; Douxie swaps bodies with her. Jim recovers in a rebuilt Camelot and learns that his mother Barbara is engaged to Strickler. Queen Aja Tarron and Eli Pepperjack join the group, and Blinky Galadrigal reveals the Order's plan: to awaken the Titans and bring them together at Arcadia Oaks, the universe's center, to destroy the world and remake it.
