Plot summary
The film covers the life and career of Tina Turner, who became one of the first Black women to reach a mainstream international audience. Turner herself takes part. Her path is presented as a story of triumph over adversity and of survival. It is dedicated to her son Craig Turner and to Rhonda Graam, a close friend who worked as her road manager and assistant for more than 45 years. Turner said the film runs alongside her memoir Happiness Becomes You.
