Plot summary

Chan Foh To works in a Hong Kong junkyard garage with his father, Chun Tung, and his sisters Dai Mui and Sai Mui, after returning from a master course at Mitsubishi Motors in Japan. He also assists the police by inspecting vehicles modified for street racing. One night Chan stops to help the reporter Amy Yip and Mr. Lam, whose Mitsubishi FTO has run dry of gasoline, and takes the car with Amy inside to pursue the black Nissan Skyline of Warner "Cougar" Kaugman, a criminal driver. A police roadblock brings the chase to an end and Cougar is taken into custody, but he is freed when the evidence and a warrant are lacking. Amy continues to seek a cover story about Chan.
