Plot summary
Chow Sing Cho holds the title Saint of Gamblers, but every game he wins comes from supernatural power, and the rule attached to it says the money must go to charity or he is cursed. Penniless, he follows his uncle Blackie Tat's advice and goes looking for the God of Gamblers, Ko Chun, hoping to be taken on as a pupil. Ko Chun is out of the country, in Brazil, and the man who stands in for him is his first disciple, Michael Chan, the Knight of Gamblers. Sing and Tat arrive at Michael's villa uninvited, are sent away, and come back. An old adversary of Ko Chun sits in prison; his godson Hussein has a scheme to trade on Michael's name.
