Plot summary
Whistler Camp promises LGBTQ youth an inclusive week away from forced conversion. Jordan arrives having struck a bargain: one week at the camp, and a religious family will grant legal emancipation. Owen Whistler, who runs the camp, assigns Jordan, who is non-binary, to the boys' cabin anyway. He outs Alexandra as trans in front of the group and sends her to the boys' cabin too. A new nurse, Molly, joins the staff. Zane and Sarah lead the campers through activities, and Dr. Cora Whistler, the camp therapist, belittles them over their sexualities and gender identities. One night Owen handcuffs the campers in pairs and sends them walking into the woods; Jordan and Alexandra glimpse a masked figure among the trees.
