Plot summary
Anne is the girlfriend Christopher Rocket cannot commit to. His loyalty goes to his work instead, and to little else in his personal life. Then his father, from whom he is estranged, has a stroke, and Christopher travels back to the hometown he came from, where Jane, his mother, is a central figure in the dysfunctional past of the family.
