Plot summary
Terry Savage served as a Marine and has come home to a daughter who needs surgery and a bill he cannot cover. With no work and no money, he takes drugs from a local gang and is caught. The police commissioner then offers him a choice: go into a prison undercover and look into a warden suspected of illegal activity, and be released in exchange. To help him from inside, the commissioner smuggles an encrypted smartphone in for him to use. Terry agrees to the arrangement and enters the prison as an inmate, tasked with finding out what the warden is doing.
