Plot summary

The realm is ruled by a tyrant and England is coming apart. Robin's family is attacked by soldiers under the Sheriff of Nottingham's orders, and the young man vows that those behind it will pay. He wants the country's oppressed people freed as well. The reclusive magician Merlin advises and mentors him, and with his right-hand man Lancelot he recruits exiled fighters and mavericks, each holding a grudge against the Sheriff and a fighting skill of his own. The band intends to hit the crown's guards and the taxes that weigh on the villagers, and to rally the villagers to their cause.
