Plot summary
London is stalked by a vampire named Armand Tesla during the First World War. One of his victims arrives at the clinic run by Lady Jane Ainsley and Professor Walter Saunders, who treat what looks like a severe case of anemia. When Tesla slips into the clinic, he preys on Saunders's granddaughter Nicki. Saunders comes to believe that a vampire is responsible and points out the marks on the patients' necks to Lady Jane. The two search a nearby cemetery for the crypt, and there, in his coffin, Tesla casts no reflection in a mirror. A werewolf in Tesla's service tries to prevent them from intervening.
