The Quake (2018) on Netflix

Plot summary

Three years after the Geiranger tsunami, geologist Kristian Eikjord keeps to himself in the rebuilt village while Idun, his wife, works at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Oslo and raises their children, Sondre and Julia. Their marriage is ending and Kristian's secret room honoring the tsunami's 250 dead has widened the distance between them. When fellow geologist Konrad Lindblom dies in an Oslofjord Tunnel collapse, Kristian travels to Oslo to investigate. Konrad's supervisor Johannes Løberg dismisses the seismic activity Konrad had tracked as construction blasting, but Kristian visits Konrad's house, meets his daughter Marit, and studies the core samples and maps Konrad left behind. The evidence points to something far larger beneath the city, and Kristian begins warning his family that a powerful earthquake could strike Oslo.
