Plot summary
Bears keep turning up dead in Norway, and three students, Thomas, Johanna and cameraman Kalle, want to know who kills them. Local hunters at one carcass say the tracks look wrong; Finn Haugen of the wildlife board rejects the idea that they were faked. The students trail a man they suspect, Hans, who keeps refusing an interview. In a forest at night they see lights and hear roars; Hans runs past shouting about a troll, something bites Thomas, and their vehicle is wrecked, so they leave in Hans's Land Rover. Hans tells them he hunts trolls for a secret government agency and lets them film his work provided they follow his instructions to the letter. Before they start, he wants to know whether a Christian is among them, since trolls can smell Christian blood.
