Plot summary
Stacy De Novo is now Princess of Belgravia and married to Prince Edward, while her lookalike, Margaret Delacourt, is preparing to be crowned queen of Montenaro after the old king's death and his son Howard's decision not to rule. Margaret's romance with Kevin Richards is over, though the two of them, with Edward and Kevin's daughter Olivia, decorate the palace for Christmas after Stacy brings Kevin from Chicago, where he bakes and feels low. Edward minds how much of Stacy's time goes to her royal duties. Count Antonio Rossi, Margaret's chief of staff, courts her and makes Kevin doubt he could suit a queen. Stacy proposes a second identity swap so Margaret and Kevin get an afternoon together. Margaret's cousin Fiona, having spent her family's fortune, plans to pass as Margaret and loot the treasury.
