The Prince (2014) on Netflix

Plot summary

Paul chats with his daughter Beth by video chat, and they plan her visit home after finals. Then a letter says her tuition was never paid, and a stranger answers her phone, so Paul flies to her city instead of calling the police. At Beth's apartment he finds a photo of her with another young woman and tracks her to a bar, where she introduces herself as Angela. Angela says Beth dropped out of college and fell in with local drug dealers. Paul pays her to take him to New Orleans, where Beth was last seen, and to point out the dealer Eddie. At a club, Eddie denies knowing Beth until his uncle persuades him to talk.
