Plot summary
A house painter takes on a simple task: coat a house in blue, the inside and the outside. What he does not know is that the Pink Panther has taken an interest in the job and much prefers pink. The Panther swaps the painter's bucket of blue paint for pink paint, and then, unseen, follows the painter from one spot to the next. Every time the painter has finished an area, the Panther coats the same area pink, sometimes only a moment later. The painter, who is not aware of the Panther's presence, is left wondering whether something is wrong with his paint or with his own mind.
