Plot summary
Sealed inside the cornerstone of the J. C. Wilber Building since 1892 is a metal box, and the demolition crew tearing the building down in 1955 finds it. The box holds a document dated April 16, 1892, and a live frog. The frog takes up a top hat and cane and performs a song on the spot, and the worker who opened the box carries it away from the site, certain the act is worth money. In front of anyone but him, though, the frog goes back to being an ordinary frog, and the talent agent the worker visits sees no act at all.
