Plot summary
Maya is a former figure skater. She failed twice at senior international competition early on, and a personal tragedy stands behind those results. At thirty she decides to skate again and to chase competition once more, following the example of her skating idol, Igor Rusky. Returning to the rink brings back the painful memories of her past, and they weigh on her as she trains. She develops her own kind of visualization to work through them: she places Igor Rusky inside those old memories, so that the pain in them turns into inspiration instead.
