Plot summary

Charles Young is an introverted video editor who keeps to himself and is getting over a breakup with his girlfriend Isha. Convinced she is about to leave him, he ends the relationship first and shuts himself inside his apartment. Then he steps out to tip a delivery man, and the door closes behind him with his keys still inside. With no shoes, no money and a phone low on battery, Charles sets off up, down and around his block, meeting the neighbors he has long avoided, among them a widow next door, swingers upstairs and a piano prodigy on the roof.
