Plot summary
The talent agency Chiu is sent to collect from is home to a group of young women waiting for a shot at pop stardom. Chiu, good at his job as a debt collector, takes pity on them and takes over the company in place of the debt, convinced he can do a better job of launching their careers than the agency did. The task is harder than he expected, so he hires Suen Mei-mei, an experienced talent manager, to help. Money runs low and the company nears bankruptcy while Chiu tries a different strategy to get the singers noticed. Chiu has put his own money into the venture.
