Plot summary
In 1984, Michael Larson has no job and drives an ice cream truck. When a contestant is late for an audition for Press Your Luck, Larson slips in and takes his place, telling contestant coordinator Chuck and executive producer Bill Carruthers about his background. The real contestant then arrives and Larson is sent out of the office. Carruthers, who sees an underdog in him, books Larson for the next day's taping.
