Plot summary
On the way to a ballet retreat, Jay Logan and his daughter Kayla stop for her friend Britney, who is waiting at the side of the road. Jay pulls over so Britney can step into the woods, then hears Kayla scream and finds her by herself on a bridge above a river. Kayla says she pushed Britney off, and Jay searches the spot without finding her. Kayla has Britney's purse, so they go to her mother Rebecca, an attorney, where Kayla tells her the same thing. Britney's father Sam then arrives looking for his daughter, and Rebecca tells him Kayla is at the doctor's office.
