Plot summary
Patrice's gallery sells to wealthy collectors, and she settles a debt to a drug dealer named Nate with a painting. Nate shows the piece to Gordon and Reggie, a hitman for hire. Gordon, who launders mafia money through a bialy shop, is impressed by what the painting fetched, so he proposes she clean the cash through her gallery. She refuses at first. With a rival gallery manager, Anika, pulling ahead, Patrice visits Gordon and agrees to launder the money in exchange for part of the earnings, and requests a canvas to sell. Reggie, who knows nothing about painting, makes one for her, and Patrice calls the painter The Bagman.
