Plot summary
Solène Marchand, a divorced art gallery owner in Los Angeles, plans a solo camping trip for her approaching 40th birthday. When her ex-husband Daniel is called away for work, she takes their teenage daughter Izzy and her friends to Coachella instead. Daniel has arranged a meet-and-greet with the boy band August Moon. Solène wanders into a trailer she thinks is a bathroom and finds Hayes Campbell, the band's 24-year-old lead singer. They flirt, though Solène is uneasy about their sixteen-year age difference. Hayes dedicates a song to her during the set. Back home, he appears at her gallery and buys every artwork on display. She shows him a friend's warehouse studio, and they talk about art and their lives. She invites him to lunch to avoid paparazzi, and they kiss, but she pulls away.
