Plot summary

Gabby and Michael are on their first romantic trip together as a couple, staying at a remote cabin in the mountains. On the first night, a persona that says it is God takes over Michael and speaks to Gabby. It tells her she will not live past the trip and that Hell awaits her unless she accepts what Michael says as true, repents, and worships him. Gabby has to weigh what she is hearing: is Michael a manipulative psychopath, is he mentally ill, or is something impossible actually happening, her creator offering a way out of an eternity she cannot imagine?
